Random Rhetoric on the Blog!

Sometimes, as I sit on my copious backside, I wonder about the same old thing that I am sure most of us ponder over in our life- why are we here?
They say there IS a reason as to why we go through this roller-coaster that life is. But what is it? And, is this reason, this purpose of our lives set in stone or do we carve it out on our own?
Okay, now that my spiritual bout is over, I shall move on. I think from time to time as to what it is that my blog is all about. I mean, my display picture is of pumps, but, my blog isn't about fashion, is it? Well, at least not yet. Speaking of fashion, whatever happened to the good ol' hair ribbons? And the poof! Oh my God! I am in love with it.. Anne Hathaway did a particularly chic and modern take of the classic 60's hairdo by toning down the height of the poof and coupling it with a simple black hairband. Check it out!

She is such a beautiful and intelligent woman. One day, I want to be like her! (And right about now there's a voice in my head screaming, 'DREAM ON! DREAM ON! DREAM ON!' in Steven Tyler's classic screech.)
Hah!
P.S.- If I were a boy, I'd have hair like George Harrison. Not that I can't have it now, it's just that I'll look like a miserable version of Peter Pan. Or an extremely disfigured Wendy. NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH GEORGE HARRISON'S HAIR! HE IS GOD. How can anything be wrong with HIM? It's me. I'm not cut out for it. Hee hee.

The poetic confessions of a part-time misandrist.

I don't understand this world of men
But then, barely can I distinguish
A cock from a hen.
One day they flirt with you
And the next, they treat you like dog poo.
They don't tell you the reason for this
And want you to read signs, you may have missed.
You never know if they are plotting or scheming
You never know if you are perceptive or not
You never understand, why you find him so Goddamn hot.
You dream, when you're asleep and awake
But, on the other side, you want to take
Yourself away from him.
Things he says and things he does
May make you want him too much
And then, only God may help us when we feel such.
I want him, but I deny
I love him, but I defy
I need him, I can not lie.
But, maybe I'm blowing this out of proportion
And this mess is, maybe, not real
And only my insane notion.
Yet, I do not know how I will live
Through an anguish like this.
